Artist statement: I am an activity coordinator at Roxburgh House in Westgate. One of our clients, John, enjoys drawing and I think he deserves recognition. You would make John very happy including his art in this excellent project.

John is 79 and was diagnosed with frontal lobal dementia and aphasia, which makes it hard for him to communicate verbally with others. Art is his happy place. John is our client since January. He lived in different places around the world and recently used to live with his partner on a boat. I try to encourage him to share his memories with me through art of drawing.
