Getting to Margate
Parking
Parking is not generally available at any of the venues.
Turner Contemporary has seven accessible parking bays directly outside the gallery. There is some on-street parking on the High St, near Crate and Limbo, and on Northdown Road, directly outside Well Projects.

Turner Contemporary is open Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm.
Other venues are open Friday-Sunday 12-5pm.

Accessible visitor toilets are available at Turner Contemporary and CRATE.
LIMBO is immediately next door to CRATE.
The Changing Places toilet at Margate Library (5 mins from CRATE & LIMBO) is closed at the time of writing.
Well Projects does not have an accessible toilet, but is a 2 minute walk from the Harold Road public toilet.
Where Else / Elsewhere does not have accessible toilets but can provide access to accessible toilets in a neighbouring business.
Turner Contemporary - The gallery is fully wheelchair accessible with an outdoor ramp and lift serving both floors.
CRATE - The space is fully accessible from the front of the building and has double doors.
LIMBO - Wheelchair access is through the main gates: Please ask the invigilator at Crate for assistance.
Well Projects - The gallery has a narrow door (67cm) so may not be fully accessible to wheelchairs.
Whereelse / Elsewhere - there is a step up to the main entrance set on an incline. We will provide a wheelchair ramp to access the space.
Large print text, magnifying sheets and audio versions of exhibition text are available at all venues.
Audio descriptions of all works in the exhibition are available via QR code. Please bring your own smartphone and headphones or contact the exhibition organisers in advance if this is not possible. Audio descriptions are available to download here.

If you are unable to visit any of the exhibitions or events in person, please enjoy our online exhibition, Sick Artists Club, which features artwork submitted by members of the public who have experience of chronic illness or disability.
